WHO WE ARE.
Community Development Aid (CODAID)’ CODAID is non-profit and non-partisan organization that is established in by concerned South Sudanese as a response to the long-term conflict situations of the South Sudanese that has devastated lives of many women left widowed, children orphaned and some surviving in Internally Displaced Person’s (IDP) camps in State Capitals and other major towns, and others fled to refugee camps in the neighboring countries of Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and with others finding their ways to third countries in the West. CODAID was created with the mandate to support the people most affected by the long conflicts in the conflict in South Sudan.
Community Development Aid (CODAID) is one of the few dynamic indigenous Humanitarian Development Organizations that is established in South Sudan to handle the conflict and natural disaster recovery of human dignity of South Sudanese affected by the series of wars and Flood of South Sudan civil war of 2013-2018.
CODAID was established in 2017 by the groups of South Sudanese response to the appalling and dire needs of rehabilitating the lives of people affected physically, economically, socially and psychological by the wars across South Sudan.
Community Development Aid (CODAID) was founded in February 2016 in Juba and officially launched in December 2017, registered by the Government of South Sudan’s Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) number 1,216 with a main objective of extending a helping hand to most vulnerable South Sudanese across the country whose lives have been negatively impacted by the conflicts in the South Sudan respectively
